Vampire™ Facelift in Chattanooga
The Vampire™ Facelift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves injecting PRP (platelet rich plasma) into specific places around the face as well as hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler. PRP is obtained from your own blood once it has been centrifuged and separated from the red blood cells. The centrifuge procedure isolates the highest number of platelets, which contain stem cells and numerous growth factors to help stimulate collagen, elastin, and overall tissue regeneration as well as improves blood circulation. The Vampire™ Facial is different than the Vampire™ Facelift because the facial does not require any injections and is done as a microneedling procedure applied topically and transdermally.

Vampire™ Facelift FAQ
PRP is a concentrated source of platelets, growth factors, and cytokines produced naturally in your own body, which stimulates and controls healthy regenerative processes, including collagen and soft tissue remodeling, and thereby improves overall health and rejuvenation. The PRP, painlessly obtained through a small blood draw, is injected after dermal filler and enhances the results of this amazing procedure. PRP has been used successfully for years in surgical, orthopedic, and non-surgical medical procedures to promote improved healing times and optimal results from various procedures. Our body produces new platelets regularly and an average lifespan of circulating platelets is 8-9 days. They are produced in the bone marrow from precursors called megakaryocytes. Since only a small amount blood is drawn to obtain PRP, and since our bone marrow produces them daily, this procedure will not affect your platelet count or bodily function.
It starts with a simple blood draw and place the blood into a centrifuge that separates the red blood cells from the platelets. The platelet rich plasma (PRP) contains all the stem cells and growth factors needed to help with regeneration.
After being injected into the appropriate areas, the PRP will start to regenerate the tissue in about 2 weeks, although some have noticed great results even sooner. The PRP will continue to regenerate all the way up to 6 months. The effects of this regenerative procedure can last up to two years depending on the patient’s skin, metabolism, and environmental exposures. This is a very safe procedure with virtually no side effects since you are utilizing materials from your own body.
There is very little down time. Some patients may experience some swelling for approximately 1-3 days. Some may experience some bruising, but this is rare. We provide Arnica gel and Arnica pellets to help with the swelling and bruising.
You should expect more youthful and healthy-looking skin. Also, expect tissue repair and regeneration in all areas where the PRP and the HA filler was injected, experiencing tightening, and thickening of the skin along with wrinkle reduction. Your skin texture will appear smoother. Most of our patients report an increased vibrancy and glow to their skin.
