Botulinum ToxinType A is a highly effective treatment for frown lines, worry lines, forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet. It will give your skin a soft, smooth, natural appearance. The sensation associated with this procedure is minimal. Botox takes 7-10 days to fully set in. Although you may probably start noticing results sooner, it may take up to 2 weeks to truly see your complete results. You can resume your normal activity right after your treatment. Initially, minor redness or small bumps may occur at the injection site, but this should resolve in a few minutes.
Botulinum Toxin Type A actually works to block signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle cannot contract. That makes wrinkles relax and soften. The procedure reduces wrinkles and prevents the ones you have from becoming worse. When the muscles are relaxed, as a result, wrinkles that were formed begin to soften which creates and restores a more youthful appearance.
